When adding more than one hotspot to cubic qtvr panorama with stitcher can you specify a unique id number for each one. the default seems to be assigning id=0 to all. If there is no control for this in stitcher is there a third party software that would allow editing of id numbers?

I need to render a cubic panorama as 6 tif's edit them in photoshop then render a cubic qtvr. up to this point i have no problems, however i now need to introduce 6 hotspots set to "other" in this panorama. How do i do this as the conversion tool doesn't seem give a step for adding or editting hotspots[/i][/b]

Our tests seem to indicate that Stitcher assigns hotspot IDs starting with "1" and incriementing byi 1. But is there a way to see the IDs? To modify them?
BTW, our test was to put the nodes in Director and write a script that takes action based on the ID.
Has anyone found a good source of info on this subject (hotspot IDs)?

Hi,

Unfortunately, I have never found a solution that uses PC. If its any help at all to you though, the one solution I did find is by transferring your Cubic QTVR images to Mac and using a couple of programs called Cubic Connector and Cubic Converter from Apple. These programs let you number the hotspots and if you want link as nodes/individual images. I have then put these into director and all the test scripts work.

Sorry this isnt easier and I hope this might help.

Simon
