First  example : Batistero of Parma
 
The panorama has been made by VRWAY Communication  (http://www.arounder.com and choose Parma)
 
The 3D reconstruction can be viewed in the SPi-V3D viewer here:

First the panorama is downloaded.
You can then move around while the 3D model loads.
Once 3D is loaded, a new mode is active in the toolbar that allows you to explore the scene.
