I'm amazed, 263 views and counting and not one response.

I have to guess the Gallery Forum is not very active as I posted the first message over a month ago and it's still the newest post. Is that a record :)!

Anyone have any comments on this tour?

Robert,

This is the first time I see this Gallery section. I just joined about 10 days ago. Presently I am on a business trip in the Caribbean.

I understand your frustration. I placed a question.... many views later only one person responded.  To my luck the person that responded was very good with his comments. I belong to another forum on 3D Virtual Reality. The 3D forum is better in terms on responses.

I like your movies. They look fairly good. However, you have the same ghost problems I am having. Is that normal...?  Can we get rid of that...?

Question...  is the sharpeness or clarity you are getting on the panoramic is the same you get from your camera....?

In general terms I like what you have presented.....

Thanks
Elliot

Robert,

Another question...!  I don't get the option to zoom in or zoom out. Is that something you have to enable.....  I think that is the case.

Yes, the ghosting problem is something that can be fixed, either in Photoshop or with stencils in Stitcher, but the ones in this image don't bother me.

Not as sharp as a single image, still trying to figure out a better approach for sharpening the finished work.

With QT you can control how much zooming is possible, on these images I've not set any limits. To zoom use the one of the option keys, shift or alt or control. I can never remember which one does what as I always see a menu bar that has the "-" or "+" options.

Robert your work looks geat! I'm in NC and shoot architecture daily. I'm ready to start doing digital panoramas with my 1DS and have lots of questions about software and lens?

Ben, thank you for you input and kind reply.

VR is a complex world, so much more opportunities for things gone wrong verses still (single shot) photography.

Base on other postings by you to date I'm surprised you've not tried PC lenses from canon.  not sure they work with Vr, but in the next 3-12 months I plan to try them anyway.

If you have not already looked at spaze's VRs, you should -  he's very good at what he does. Many more examples of extremely well done VR's than what I'm producing to date.

I'm working on it, but this is a world that takes quite a bit of time to really excell in.

Tell me how you built your business for architecture to a daily basis? I'm shooting real estate on a daily basis and as you know, there is quite a difference in price and time to shoot between the two.

I used Stitcher, of course, with a Canon 10D, 16-35 usm lens and a 303 SPH head.  Together, all of these are a great VR combination today.

the ghost table would be by most regarded as an error, it's simply something that got moved during the shoot, so it's not in all the shots that are part of the VR.

I do not consider this VR finished. the ghost table will be "filled" and a few more errors and improvements will be made to the final image when I get the time.

Best regards,

Pano,
All I have to say is of all the cubics I've seen, yours makes me want to look at everything. The subject was outstanding as well as the detail.
Isn't that what it's about?
Although the small package took about 3-4 minutes to download in this rural area of Idaho, it was worth it.

Thanks for your reply
Regards,
Gary

Are you talking about real estate in michigan or something else?! Umm. There is a good page for real estate in michigan perhaps!
Also, you can find some other content on it,such as gps software laptop or goldeuro or makeup air.
You can search on the homepage try some other keywords,no ads even.these page updated every day.Because of the huge database,it perhaps not very fast,if you don't like it,take it easy.

Wow, this thread was started a long time ago! Would love to link to the original Chicago site, but did look at the mich. real estate one. Good vr's, but so many for inexpensive homes really makes me wonder at the rates for these. Very curious, as I've heard real estate paid poorly in general. Cheers.
