Hello guys. Need some info if anyone has it.
 
For film quality set recreation and SIBL in XSI or Maya, what is the best choice?  
 
Vtour seems to be a lower end package, but has HDR capability where Image modeler seems to be the more accurate app without HDR ability..
 
What are the maximum image file size, pixel size for either app?
 
I currently shoot an area and create all geometry and UVs manually, then apply textures. I see in the tut vids they are going into Maya, but do these apps create proper, usable UV mapped surfaces.
I'm concluding this is the main area where these apps speeds thing up... Are there other benifits I am missing?
 
Any potential transfer isuues/ hassles if I'm thinking of adding detail with proper modelling tools in XSI/MAYA and generating displacement mapping etc...looks like Vtour only does realviz and Maya model export?
