» » artzfx Dream, Create, Animate... | Hello again,
Beside exporting to other formats from VTour 1.1, I also had the need to stitch multiple VTour created scenes together. To test my theory I created two 360 panorama's of a mock up town in Cinema 4D whereby I had a main street with an intersection at either end. I then took a 360 pano from the middle of each intersection along the main street.
I created the scenes separately in VTour 1.1 then followed my export process to .3ds format (as explained in another thread) and combined the two .3ds scenes inside Cinema 4D. The two scenes stitched up very well together and provided me the ability to walk up and down side streets from two different intersections on the main street. Here is a short Quicktime clip of the stitched scene. Note that this is a very crude scene given I was just proving a process, so the textures are not photogrpahic as I just used flat colours for the buildings and have not built all geometry out for the buildings, just their shapes.
Note. The cameras were positioned at the same height and the main street used a flat road. I have not tried as yet with undulating streets.
Hope this is useful,

badders | Hi Neil,
Great tips! Glad to see you've found a couple of very useful workarounds. Can you post the link to the Quicktime clip? ---------------
