I know I should have probably read something before I posted this.
 
I am currently trying the demo version....impressed so far.
 
I have created a model using Cinema 4d and saved it as a wavefront object (.obj)
The demo version won't allow me to import it.
 
Is this a problem with the file or a limitation of the demo version.

  No, only the exports are not available. You should be able to import obj's file in the demo version.
Could you send your example here (if its not to big) or at support@realviz.com so we can have a look at this file, and why it does not load.
