I'm using the calibrated Salon file from the examples, I create a plane for the paintaing on the back (as in the tutorial).

Click on generate texture, all default values and around 95%, VT tour crashes. Always.

Hello,

I tried this sequence of operations:

1- Loaded "Calibrated.rzv"
2- Activated the create primitive tool (plane appears under the mouse)
3- Placed the plane as it is explained in the video, using the constraints
.....
4- Went to Texturing Tab
5- Chose "Extract Texture" option
6- A dialog appears with extraction option;    Did you changed some value here ???
7- Selected "OK" button
8- Texture extracts and is added in the scenebrowser, and mapped on the model in the 3d view

Questions:
-------------
Is this the sequence you are operating ?
If not what is the main difference of your operations ?
At wich step did you get the crash ? (before the dialog, after the dialog, after extraction, ...) ?

This would help me, in repeating the bug on my side.

Thanks for your help,

Stef

Stef,

Thanks for the quick reply. I manage to get it to work by chaging the display settings, I had the default setting, selecting the 'Maya' configuration worked.

I looked into the error message (really tired to do it last night) and noticed that was the OpenGL. Selecting Maya enabled OpenGL and everything is working now
