I am using SPi-V3D to display my 3D models.
I created a 3D model of a church.
I have xml and w3d file.  
I wanted to exchange texture files, so I edited some of the textutes from my_project_TX folder.
I reloaded html file (in IE and Firefox) but the edited textures don't change. I still have the same situation before editing png files. Nothing changed.
It seems that texture png files are in some way saved in w3d file. Am I right?
How it works?

   Yes, the textures are already in the w3d file.
You might be able to change the image link into Director, but not sure of that.
 
I suggest you edit the textures in VTour before exporting (using right click on a selected material, and Edit Texture in Editor... option)
