Geotag (gps exif info) workflow

I'd like to have an appropriate workflow to keep the Exif & IPTC metadata in my files from one end of the chain (my camera) to the othe end (my QTVR or jpeg files).

Unfortunately right in the middle sits Realviz, and last time I checked :
- the quicktime annotations are limited by default to realviz url and software name
- all exif and iptc info is trashed by the software

Does anyone have a cool, easy to use and non repetitve way to overcome this severe limitation (I mean it's not like libexif is hard to use). Geotagging shots is nice, but if you loose all that info when you stitch, it's basically useless. Event the time of the first shot is erased : that would still be an option for me to identify my loc as I keep the gps tracks.

I have been looking around the web but only found people trying to sell me a new gps tracker. Your help would be appreciated.

i think the prob would be the exif timestamps, each photo being shot at a different time composited into the final pano -

i use a mac donation-ware app called PhotoGPSEditor which allows easy geotagging of images w/o geo data, and i believe you can copy lat/long from 1 photo to another

since final qtvr or flash panos cannot (currently) contain geo data anyway, i've found it easier to just embed the data in the webpage it will live on, using the geopress pugin for wordpress like so - http://www.samrohn.com/the-mall-central-park-nyc/

in this gallery example, multiple pano locations are plotted to a single map with geopress - http://www.samrohn.com/explore/new-york-city/ (i know, map needs thumbnail pop-ups)
