Badders,

You have helped me out in the past regarding camera upgrades.  I originally was trying to go with a double shot upgrade, but I think I might go for a different upgrade that requires 4 shots or more.  I am looking to get the best results possible for my Panos.  I have started doing hotels in Maryland. I take 5 shots at different exposures load them into Photomatix Pro (Batch COnversion) then load them into sticher.  The two images I get after the Photomatix process end in .hdr these will not work in sticher for some reason. Anyway.  What upgrade is going to give me the best clarity, color and seamless panos?  Thank you again for all of your help.

Hi Chris,

Glad to help. Here's my tips to get the BEST results:

1. Forget HDR. It's really for developing images used for creating reflections in 3D applications. If you want to work with bright lights/shadows then sure take multiple exposures but blend the images   by hand in Photoshop using a graphics tablet and the eraser tool.
2. Buy a DSLR with a 10-12MP sensor
3. Buy either the Nikon 10.5mm f/2.8 or the Sigma 10mm f/2.8 fisheye lens.
4. Buy either the Nodal Ninja 5 or better still if you can afford it the 360Precision Adjuste rotator.
5. Take 6 shots horizontal plus one shot vertical and optional 2 shots down at 90 degs apart (some people take 6 shots down at 15 degs incline and one shot up)
6. Shoot in RAW
7. Enjoy what you do.
