Hi Vincen,

Are you trying to display this locally, i.e. on your own machine? If so, you need to set the security settings, see the Immervision help files for info. If it's on a web server you should be fine.

Similar problem here

The panorama loaded and then the screen just goes a solid colour. This problem only occurs in the latest version of Firefox (2.0.0.11) and Safari (3.0.4). My flash version is 9.0.115.0. I have replicated this problem on several MACs and PCs. It seems to occur when only safari and firefox are installed on the same machine.

I have discovered that it is down to the size (in pixels) of the ivp file. I think it is something to do with flash player memory and the browsers.

Anything bigger than 1364x1364 causes this error, but only when using the pureplayer for flash. With the java player, you can export out ivp's at any resolution.

There must be some sort of conflict between the script and the browsers.

If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

Hi all
This is a bug/restriction, choose yourself in the latest flashplayer.

It has to do with the size of the longest side of the image. As far as I know Immervision flash uses strips and the 1364x1364 cubes are 1364x8184.

The problem was discovered a month ago at flashpanoramas and has been discussed here in this thread http://flashpanoramas.com/forum/showthread.php?t=745
We found out that anything above 8190 pixels did not work.

I do not use Immervision so I do not know if they have another way of doing it than with Strips.
Flashpanoramas can also use cubefaces and even QTVR movies directly so the people who had used strips has converted it to that.
