Problem getting stitched

I can't for the life of me get pictures taken with my
Sigma 8mm F3.5 EX DG Fisheye, Nikon D70, Nodal Ninja combo to stitch at all.
Can anyone stitch these, or did I take the pictures wrong?

The images came into Stitcher sideways, Even though I rotated them within the program they still did not properly 'drop' into the interface. However, I was able to manual stitch them (Cmd-Shft-Ret).

The Image Properties that resolved from the resultant stitch was a 130.512 Fisheye Circular

I put up your files, a Stitcher Unlimited file and the result at

Hope it helps.

Hi Shimakaze!

Wow! This Sigma f3.5 lens continues to impress me. I had no problems stitching your images - who needs an uber expensive panohead - your NN did a fine job!

The QTVR is here - no pre/post processing. I've generated the QTVR at full resolution (3MB) so as to appreciate the full quality of this lens.

The only complaint I have with the Sigma f3.5 is the exploding sun - something the Nikkor 10.5mm DX (especially at f/8 as you have set yours) doesn't do. But for images without a contentious Sun to deal with - what a gem!

Thank you for posting this image series.

Hi Shimakaze!

Forgot one thing: the methodology.

1) Loaded your JPEGs
2) Stitcher recognized them as circular fisheyes - confirmed the setting.
3) Used the Auto-Stitch command.
4) Rendered to TIFF with enblend 3.0 (Mac) if you are PC then choose "SmartBlend".
5) Convert to QTVR from TIFF (Stitcher can do this - I used CubicConverter).

Hi Shimakaze!

Yet another note...

I did not encounter the problems with your images as did Michael. I did a simple drag'n drop into the stitching window and everything worked well as described in my previous post (using Stitcher 5.6.0).

Strange. Auto stitch didn't work at all for me. Perhaps I should do a complete reinstall of the program

Hi Shimakaze!

You could PM (private message) your email address to me and I will then be able to send you my Stitcher file for your images. Not sure how helpful this will be in your workflow... but you will at least see one possibility.
