» » nightingal | Hello,
I have some strange problem with Stitcher lately. My pictures are showing the great amount of noise after loading into stitcher. Im shooting in RAW and export them as a JPEG. They are nice and clear but if I drag and drop them into Stitcher it is a mess. Have you ever had a similar problem?
I will post some examples later.
Thanks Mike |
Jim Scott | Hi Mike!
Are you loading 16-bit JPEGs? Stitcher only deals well with 8-bit JPEGs in my past trials (v5.5 - haven't tried 16-bit JPEGs in v5.6+). ---------------

nightingal | Hello JIm,
It does not seem like this is that problem. Im working with 8-bit pictures. Here are the pictures BEFORE and AFTER

charlest | Hi nightingal,
What version of Stitcher are you using? |
nightingal | Hi, Im using 5.6.2. version. It is very strange coz I did not changed any settings. Maybe it happened with last update of the Stitcher!?

Jim Scott | Hi Mike!
I took your "before" image from this thread - and rendered it (Snapshot) through Stitcher 5.6.2. To my eyes it came through OK all things considered - very similar to your "before" shot, certainly not like your "after" render. Don't have a clue here.
Do you have the same problem with TIFF output? ---------------

nightingal | hello JIm,
ive been using just the TIFF output according to this thread (cant find it now :-( ). But Ive changed my output settings to JPEG. It seems that even though noise is still present in sticher view, the picture look hust fine after render. So I can now say Ive sorted my problem for while. But Ihave not sortet the cause.
So if someone will later accounter the same trouble, change render to JPEG.
