If I understand your "title says all..." correctly you wish for Stitcher to support .NEF.
 
I would hope instead that Nikon supports the open DNG standard. (BTW: I am a Nikon user.)
 
I base this on two grounds:

1) Open standards benefit everybody.
2) Realviz can not even keep up with its own software updates. I shudder to think of them trying to keep pace with all the RAW formats from all camera manufacturers (if they are going to support Nikon they should do the same for others).
