Limitations of Trial Version?

Hi,
can somebody tell me what the limitations of the trial versions of Stitcher Unlimited 5.7 are?

I have been testing the software on my computer. On which it unfortunately did not work because of my ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2300 Card.

Then I moved to a friend. With his computer it seems to work fine, but I cannot find out which usability problems I have might be related to limitations of the trial version.

On earlier versions I had no problem to set the render area, but on this version I am lost how to set it...

Is this a limitation of the trial version?

Thanks for any answers,

Max

Hi Max,

The limitation of the trial version is that the output is watermarked. There's no limitation in being able to set a render area.

Hi Andrew,

Load Panorama is disabled on the File menu and the Load a Panorama button on the fly-out does nothing.
I'm using the trial version

No idea then. I thought it would still work.

Dear MaxCL,

You have just to uncheck the GPU linear blending option into the preferences to have an operationnal Stitcher on your hardware (ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2300 Card).

I don't know why Stitcher 5.7 are not working on your card. Because on Ati  X1600 (A below range of your graphic card) is totally able to do the asked work on the GPU.

Do you have updated your driver ?

In hope it will fix your problems.

Sounds like the next version could do with having the Load Panorama feature re-introduced...

So here's an open question:

What's the benefit of the GPU linear blending mode? Anyone getting improved results from this feature? I've seen quite a lot of posts where the solution is to turn it off....

Trust me, I'm the first to promote any new development in this application but I've yet to see the benefit of this feature.

From what I'm understanding, the "Load Panorama" option is only disabled in the trail version, it exists in the full version of 5.7?

A pretty severe limitation if it's not in the full version.

To badders :

The GPU features able you to see the result of the linear blending rendering step in real time.

And in the 3D view if you have stencils, you can also see the effects of the stencil in real time.
