Hello
If i choose Tif as render format i can also choose in the render option tab an option which is called:
" use image strip for odering during rendering"
but  can't find any explanation in the manual who to use this feature, and what this feature does?

can anybody explain it to me?

I'm using Stitcher Unlimited 5.6.2. on mac os x

Hi Andy,
Page 91 (para 4) of my Stitcher User Guide states:
"If you choose a TIF file format, you can select the 'Use Strip' option to decrease the amount of memory used at the expense of a longer rendering time."

Hi Andy & Bruxist!

Andy- I have no clue what the benefit is if you select this checkbox, nor have I been able to find it described in on-line Help, or the printed manual either. Writing tech support support@realviz.com might clear the air here. Please let us know the answer when they respond!

Bruxist - I believe Andy is referring to something else re: this "strip" question.

Andy refers to the "Render Option" tab (not the "Image/TIFF Options" as sited on p91 of the manual). Under this "Render Options" tab there is a checkbox which, as Andy wrote, says: "Use ImageStrip To Order Shots During Rendering". I believe the "ImageStrip" as used here refers to the "Image Strip" (as it is written in other parts of the printed manual, e.g. p19). The Image Strip was the original interface Stitcher had for loading images into Stitcher - the thumbnail interface is relatively new.

This checkbox is enabled whenever you are rendering to a spherical projection & have a blending method selected such as "Smart" or "External". It is selectable for TIFF, JPEG, PSD, & PNG file formats - possibly others - these are the ones I've tried.
