This can be caused by non-standard or special characters in the file path of the
project file. Make sure there are no folders inside of which your project is saved
that have special control characters in them like: # * % ! “ / < > \ | Also avoid
accented letters. The reason for this is that the Stitcher file format is designed
to be shared across all platforms much like a web page, where all of these are
considered special control characters. This characteristic makes it possible for
you to share your Stitcher files with users on any platform.
Another possibility is that you have moved the files between the creation of the
project and the new opening. Move them to their ancient location or edit the project
file with a text editor to specify the correct directory.
