Hi,
I am new to this forum and to Stitcher. Of course I expect to have some problems whilst learning, but this one is different:
I have been experimenting, rendering 360 cylindrical panoramas. I first tried outputing a series of large resolution images but I had a lot of application errors, so I then reduced the resolution of the images and tried again. Importantly I made a template from the first attempt to speed up my process.
I opened my new template, imported the images and made my aligning/equalizing adjustments - great!
I checked the Render Options and then attempted to output to QTVR format - result ERROR.
The error appeared after 89% completion saying "Error during file save, check that Quick Time Player is not open (0)."
I made a quick visit to the FAQ page where there is series of possible fixes... I tried every possibility but still my pano would not complete (and Quick Time was not open!).
After some time (two days) I have found a strange behaviour:
Whilst checking the Rendering Properties (for the 100th time) I noticed that the filename that I had choosen was not quite correct (This was not easy to spot). The path was truncated (shortened). Yet when I click the button (...) to locate the folder it took me to the correct place!
e.g. My prefered file location was: E:\realViz\savedProjects\ yet the path shown in the Render Properties window was E:\savedProjects\
I removed the string, then redefined the full path and ran the render again - and it worked. Now I can render without any errors.
At this point I do not know whether this is a unique error in my set-up or whether there is a common fault. It maybe only because I used a template to generate the stitched project - I will find out as I do more.
I have logged it here in case anyone else may experience the same trouble.
