Hi,
i photograph with canon (400D with 10-22) and since the last version, the canon-raw-developer dpp has an own lens correction.
I heard that the lens correction from ptlens (that i used before) is still better  and now, stitcher also has an own correction.
So, which one should i use.
I think 2 corrections are not the best way.

Hi stitchomat!

A) Canon
B) PTLens
C) Stitcher
D) None of the Above

How about "None of the Above" - and would suggest you check out DxO:
http://www.dxo.com/intl/photo

DxO is different than other correction programs. The difference is DxO bases its software corrections on real measurements of the actual camera body and lens combo being employed - the other software bases its corrections on theoretically perfect systems. (A note here: I am not a Canon user; perhaps their latest RAW software takes the DxO approach. DxO offers a free trial, so you can compare its results with your other programs.)

DxO measures camera sensors combined with specific lenses. The single most valuable feature IMO is the "Deblur" setting, which corrects for acutance flaws inherent in any supported camera/lens. This deblur approach is different than UnSharp Masking (which DxO also provides for).

I have checked that your camera body and lens are supported. Definitely worth a look.

Post Edit Note:

For an example of the difference between PTLens & DxO please see:
http://web.mac.com/wdd3/iWeb/Trial/PSCS2vsDxO.html

Even though this URL compares PSCS2 vs DXO, on this tight a crop there is no effective difference using PTLens (I have run a check). And we are comparing apples and oranges. PTLens is just about correcting distortion. But DxO does the same - plus much more.
