hi,

i don't know is this a serous problem or not, or maybie i'm doing it wrong somehow, but why help contents don't load? i mean i press F1, browiser loads,

Code :
  1. file://localhost/C:/Program%20Files/REALVIZ/Stitcher%20Unlimited%205.6/Help/start.htm

this loads, it seems it's something with flash, so i disable security on this one , but nothing happens,
all i got is three labels of stitcher, logos, as image, 'Online Help' as text, and realviz logo also as image
also, this page reloads or something like that once a second, but after a while it's the same

the main problem i need reading help is how to use manual stitch

maybie someone knows what is wrong?

When I press F1, My help loads fine. This is the link to mine: file:///C:/Program%20Files/REALVIZ/Stitcher%20Unlimited%205.6/Help/start.htm

I am using firefox. Are you using IE or some other browser?

Hi liau!

As a short term solution for the "how-to" of manual stitching I have done a screen grab from the documentation which you can find here.

The specifics of the "Magnifier" settings are referenced which is a fairly straightforward procedure and is not included in the above sited URL.

I'll keep this up on my site for the next week.

I think the help file is using Flash so it is most likely an issue with Flash on your machine. Try using the Flash security settings to add the help file location to the list of approved local directories.

Also, don't forget you have the entire manual installed in PDF format so you can always use that.

badders, thanks!

I read almost all of PDF but..

i do not want to create a new thread, but i cant figure out how close panorama works. I mean I know how to use it (it worked fine with tutorial files), but I stitch one row (horizontal), and there is a gap, so I should be able to close it with the close panorama tool, but it stays gray, I select the last image of the row but tool stays gray. What is wrong?
Or maybie there is a way to fix the focal length constant ? After automatic stitch it changes everytime, and that anoys me

I use regular camera now

Hi liau, Badders,
I made a quick check - Rather than Flash, the help file (F1) requires ActiveX to run in internet browsers as the html contains scripted java. Check your ActiveX security settings on your browser.
On IE that would be under: Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Internet (custom settings).

Yes you're correct - it's the Active-X security settings, not Flash.

Thanks guys,

Uh.. howerver, I have been dealing with some panoramas two days and I noticed the problem that some photos don't stitch properly

The problem is that photos do not fit in panorama in vertical direction, if I adjust focal length to close panorama.
How do I do: because my panoramas consist of 120-150 photos, it is hard to stitch them only manualy, so I use autostitch to stitch horizontal row, after that i set it to stitch ground rows (2 rows + 1 cap) and the problem is that if bottom is well stitched, areas, where one of rows meets horizontal row, are not well aligned.

overlaping row (though all ground array is almost fine stitched compared)

maybie there is a way to avoid it?
