» » lair | I noticed that I cannot get the Live Preview when loading a Panorama (as opposed to loading images). Not sure why it's not there, but it would be useful after having rendered a PSD for editing and then importing as a Pano for re-rendering as a cubical image so I can get rid of my tripod. I like to be able to define the cube edges so the cubical preview is great. I can guess my way through it by lining up the pre-rendered Pano in a specific way, but shouldn't I be able to use the provided tools instead of a guess?
Maybe I'm missing something or this is an odd workflow...
I use a Mac and Stitcher Unlimited 5.6.2.
To go a little deeper, the reason I want to be able to control the cube faces upon render is that I have had some issues where oddly placed cube faces have distorted the final product. For example - cube faces that center on the corners of a room have left me with a Pano that WILL NOT achieve a proper horizon. |
badders | You're not missing something. It's not currently possible to do this. Wish it was though it would be a useful thing. ---------------

lair | Well, I figured as much... I guess that's the fun of learning software - how to circumvent the shortcomings. Thanks for the reply. |
Jim Scott | Hi lair!
"CubicConverter" from Click Here Design is well worth the money:

lair | It's funny... I downloaded that yesterday, looking for an alternative so the recommendation is very much appreciated. It does seem VERY usable and stable. The demo has Saving disabled, but the preview of my QTVR seemed very high quality. Consider it ordered.
Thanks, Jim. |
