Hi, i am trying to use the time editor to accelerate and the decelerate some footage. I open the footage, adjust the curves, i retime the whole thing, and when i render, it doesnt seem to retime, the footage is jerky as if it didnt do any interpolation.  
 
If i do constant retiming without using the time editor, it works fine, but every time i use it, it doesnt work properly. Ive tried different curve settings, different footage, ive done the same thing lots of different ways, but i cant get it to work. Does anyone know what may be the problem? or what the correct steps for retiming using the time editor are?

Athlon 2400
512mb ram
windows xp

which version of Retimer are you using ?
 
Is it an interlaced sequence ?
in the render box, did you set 'User defined Curve' ?
In the render setup Options, did you check 'Estimate Flow' ?
