After I defined the slow-mo curve, retimed it, and then rendered it out to targa sequence or avi (uncompress or avid codec), the result is not smooth in that it pulses every 2 seconds and also there are this ghostly or blur stuff around the person/background when she is running. I hope that I am making sense here.  
Can someon please tell me whats wrong?

You footage is interlaced. You have to deinterlace it or use the right field-order in Retimer (there is an lower or upper field first.) try both an look at you end sequenz. Now the pulse has gone. But the ghostly blur is a problem I cannot solve too. I don´t know how to handle this problem. If anybody can help let us know. :-)
