| Hey people...I've heard of retimer for quite some time now... I gathered all information i could. They were even nice enough to send me a demo CD. It looks like a great program and exactely what i've been looking for. Create real slow-mo without the expense of hight speed cameras... I did the little girl tutorial. It was pretty straight forward and all. Does it work that well with clips with a lot of motion in it? Kinda like the horse clip on the demo-cd. I did some tests and one thing i get is this bluriness thing where pixels are moving. I guess it had to do with bad vectors pointing in the wrong direction, but how one goes from correcting it, they don't tell... Does it work better with interlaced or de-interlaced frames? Do we have to buy the program to really learn how to appreciate it ? And why the advanced tutorials are in a restricted area ? Well, i don't know. I own a small facility. And i have to be careful about any penny i spend. Seems like a great program, but i would like some more in depht description before coughing up the big bucks... Are anybody else in my situation ? Let's all write to realviz...
Well, thanx anyway for the CD. |
| hello,
thanks for your interest in Realviz.
The problems you face are maybe due to a too long displacement between two frames and so the software doesnot find the pattern in the next frame. You should try to increase the max Displacement value in Edit - Properties - Retiming, it could give better result.
In any case, you can ask for an evaluation license of a few days to the nearest reseller from you, if you want to test the sofware with all its features.
They are listed in the Purchase section of our web site. |
| Dear sirs,
We have worked on Retimer software. For speeding up duration, we didnot have any problem. Where as, when slowing down we are getting more blur inbetween images. When we try to adjust these, other areas are getting affected. For example, if there are two fast movements in objects and overlapping each other, at that time what could I do? And one more area where the fast movement is, that is, if there is blur in the original footage( the software is creating inbetween image with more blur) and we want to slowdown that sequence?. What is the solution for that. If any body can solve this, well and good.
