Hi guys,

firstly I'm totallly new to matchmover and camera matching in general. I purchased matchmover 4 Pro along with the pre release version of Vue 6 infinite from e-on software. This a version of matchmover is badged as specific to Vue 6 although I think the only difference to the normal version is the export options with the version I have exporting only in zrml format. other than that it's fully functional as far as I can gather.

My question is this. I've done the basic tutorial for the lion statue footage and autotracking. I followed it to the letter but now i'm confused. I tried adding a pyramid primitive to the scene in 3d view and rendered it. The result shows the 3d helper markers moving correctly along with the footage, tracking nicely but the pyramid seems fixed in the same place on the screen. Thats is to say the footage moves behind it instead of it moving as though part of the footage. Now in the final example movies in this tutorial they have added a pyramid that moves as though resting on the base of the statue. What have I missed that stops my pyramid doing the same ?

thanks in advance guys

John

is your pyramid in the correct position in 3d space?
If it is next to the 3d markers when you look in your perspective view then it should stick the same as they do.
