Hello,

I am new to using MM. I have tracked the basic tutorial and exported it to LightWave 9. I can't get any 3D object to sync up. I have read Steve Warner's Tips and it's still not working. I also downloaded the patches. I am not sure how to install them. I just replaced the translators folder. When I am in Lightwave and add a box object, it's skipping around. I tried to add a box object and line it up with the base of the statue from the basic lion footage tutorial. If I line it up in frame 0 it won't stay lined up throughout the sequence. I have lined it up in 3d space to match the null that represents the base of the lion.

I have no idea what's going on. I'm sure it's something I am not understanding. Can anyone please give some advice on usign Lightwave with MM.

thanks,
wes

Hello,

Does the nulls seem to correctly match all along the sequence
when you look trough the camera or are they also slipping?

Maybe you could check that the framerates are correctly set...
You might also check that the FOV is set to "horizontal" not "vertical".

I'm not a very good lightwave user and i'm afraid i don't have other ideas for the moment...
Which version of Lightwave are you using by the way?

Yes, the nulls are slipping too. From frame 0 to 1 the nulls slip and the background image doesn't move until frame 2. I have checked the frame rates and they match. I'm not sure about the FOV. There doesn't seem to be a setting to change. I have run out of ideas myself. I am using LightWave v9.

thanks,
