I'm running out of ideas.
Any sugestions?
(I trying out matchmover pro 3)
thank you

Ronald | Hello,
What you show here are the global preferences that will be used for a new project. You need to change the up axis in the current project settings...
To edit them, simply press ESC (to be sure that nothing is selected), switch to 3D mode if needed, and the project 3D parameters are shown in the right pane. Just set your up axis here... Bye |
Pawel | Thank you for answering, i have changed the Z axis like you said...but hmm.. it's still shows Y up and when I export to 3ds max it's still rotated 90 deegres (camera is 'look" on the ground" )
I'm not setting the coordinate system . In the "user guide' stands "If no coordinate system is defined, MatchMover®
Pro tries to create one from the point relations or
the survey points you defined (it needs at last 4 non
colinear survey points to do so)." so.. if I have Z up (project a global settings) and I take a footage of a.. let say a brick wall . and run tracking... after exporting to 3ds max i should have a "wall " of trackers and camera in front of it... without setting a coordinate system...
but i have camera pointing down
I don't know what i'm doing wrong |
Ronald | Hi,
You mean that when you change the up axis in the current projet parameters, nothing happens ? You should see the cones and the grid orientation changing.
Anyway, the best for the max export is to set up your own coordinate system with the Z up axis before exporting, because the default one should not fit any particular purpose.
Note: the exports have been improved for the next release, especially the max one, to avoid this kind of manipulation |
