Dear sandi,
do you position your object in the 2D-view?
You'll need to be in 3D-view to correctly position your object at one specific locator (track) and you should check its postion by looking at it from different angles.
If the locator is locked to the ground, any object positioned at the locator (in 3D-space!) should be locked as well.
Kind regards
Tim

Dear Sandi,
you'll need to be in 3D-view, unlock the camera ("c" ), than you can turn around your scene and look at it at different angles.
Detailed infos in the manual, p.137ff

i got it but
i didnt get "position your object at one specific locator (track)" which locator and how?
and how to lock 3d object ?
im sorry but this is because realviz do not have proper matchmover tutorial for 3dsmax. I dont know why they didnt put whole tutorial movie file from start to end with 3dsmax .
Because i have seen most of the questions are for 3dsmax. Unless and untill people get proper guide to use MM with 3dsmax how can they buy this software..i am sorry but this is a request to REALVIZ to have complete MM tutorial for 3dsmax.
THANKS IN ADVANCE

How to lock a 3D-object in MatchMover to a locator is in the MM-manual.
How to lock a 3D-object in 3DSmax to a locator imported from MM should be in the 3DSmax-manual.
I'm not quite sure I get your point.
Best regards
Tim
