Can't import OBJ with MatchmoverPro on Mac?

I typically use MatchmoverPro on a PC, where importing OBJ files from ImageModeler to use elastics is at the core of my workflow. Just tried to do the same on MMP on a Mac, and it will not import.

MMP simply reports an error (nothing specific about what the error is) on whatever line is the first, non-commented line of the file. This happens on an OBJ that works fine on MMP on a PC, as well as the box.obj file in the Tutorials folder. (the import dialog is set to Wavefront Ascii Model)

Any thoughts on what is needed to get this working?
(Elastics is the primary reason I use MMP, really surprised to be having trouble loading an OBJ on the Mac)

Thanks.

So .... you imported into maya, then re-exported to obj again ... and that worked?

Any chance you could post (or email:  nick at nickfx  dot  com  ) the working obj file?

I was able to open the original box.obj in TextEdit, and saved out as a new file in plain text but that also didn't work. I'm curious to see what's different about the file you got out of maya.

Thanks for the response and help.

Just thought I'd check in to see if you had a chance to send that email. (If so .. I need to dig through my SPAM filter box to find it. :D )

Thanks!
