Hi :hello:

1. Can you do both supervised and then automatic tracking to provide better results?

2. The principle of having at least 7 to 12 tracks, does this mean that you should have this at anyone time on the screen, ie if two fells off the edge for say 10 frames and then came back in would you need another two to compensate?

3. If you were holding a camera and you turn around 90 degrees would this be considered a free moving shot or a nodal pan?

4. Continuing the above example is it possible to creating a an accurate camera match if the camera swings around more than 90 degrees, in such a case the original tracks would be lost half way, the beginning tracks would be completely lost by the end. And adding thought to this would it be possible to track a camera that does a complete 180?

5. How do i work out the film back width and height with a digi cam? is this same as the optical sensor size?

I'm using the following camera to do a few tests, a little info and specs: http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/b/ [...] 23501.html

6. Do you have to indicate an end keyframe when a track leaves the edge and reappears later?

7. If a track leaves the end and the feature been tracks reappears later only for a few frames do you still have to pick up the track or can you ignore it.

8. I'll be using my results in conjunction with 3ds max, any pointers from any fellow users? pitfalls to avoid etc ..?

Cheers - Dave.
