Hi, Everyone.
     Can someone help me ?
I have a scene with lens distortion. I've tracked it and am successful. I've the lens and distortion value.
I exported it to maya 2008. But how do you match 3D in Maya. Since the Image is having distortion. how
     do I undistort the Image.

If there is any other process please write.

Waiting for you replies.
Thanks

Dear matchcam,

2 options:
- either you export the distosion-grid generated by MM and project jour image-sequence as texture on it or
- you use distoima.exe to straighten your images. Distoima is a freeware downloadable in the "Patches + Upgrade" section at REALVIZ. (You'll need to have a login to access this section)

Best regards

Tim

If your distortion value is correct, the answer is YES the image should be correctly undistorted.
Nevertheless: MM and distoima only deal with linear distortion. If your orginal footage has non-linear distortion (possible, but not common: CinemaScope, i.ex.) the undistorted result may not match 100%.
Kind regards
Tim
