I can't seem to find info on how MMP handles the distortion grid export for C4d.

Attached is a screen shot..

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike

same here, once project is exported to C4D, no distortion grid object in the c4d project.
I guess this could be a question for maxon as well but it seems that you guys at realviz should know better than them.

What do you guys mean by distortion grid?

thanks

Hi,

If a lens distortion has been computed by MM and this option is checked, the image plane created in your favorite software will not be a simple plane but a subdivided mesh.

In most cases, you do not need to check this option.

I'm working on some plates that have visible lens distortion (wide angle lens adaptor).

I have MMP compute for lens distortion.

I can see the distortion in the 3d view.

When I export out to C4D, all I get is the Camera and markers (grouped into a null labeled RZHelpers).

I'm not getting subdivided mesh..

Ideas??

Thanks,

Mike
