Hallo, I cannot find out my Canon XH A1 1/3"  16/9 film back size in anyway, I have also contacted Canon without success.  
 
I have seen a similar thread:

are same values good fom XH A1 too?

I have received a phone call from Canon: they say ccd diagonal is 6mm, with aspect ratio=4/3.
 
Being XH A1 a 16/9 camera, I have supposed, by reading this article:

that 16/9 area is covering only a part of the sensor, adapting in width, so i f the actual sensor size is W=4.8mm H=3.6mm, film gate sizes I have to use in matchmover are w=4.8mm and h=2.7mm.
I have made a test by measuring actual camera hAOV and it seems to match
 
Am I correct?
