» » bernhard | Hello friends !
We've got Matchmover with Vue in a special package, but until yet, we didn't use it.
But now, I think it could be time.
I have no experience in matchmover, and I need to learn more about that sofware.
We have mainly architectural projects, and we need to match very often the camera views from stills.
The question is: Can I do that with Matchmover ?
And if yes, is there a tutorial I can go through step by step ?
thx for every little help,
bernhard

timefx | Hello Bernhard,
the dedicated software by REALVIZ for this is ImageModeler, not MatchMover.
Nevertheless, you may use MM to calculate camera positions, lens distortion, focal length etc from still images. There is no tutorial for this AFAIK, since this is not one of the things, MM has been designed for. Look up your tutorials and manual for "supervised tracking" with "helper images", "load images" (not "load sequences" ) etc...
Best regards

ODe | Hello,
I have this version too (MatchMover for Vue6) and I try to use helper images and sequence images, but it seem to be buggy. In manual we can read :
"In the case of sequence of consecutive images, you can force the last frame in the dedicated Set end edit box."
But when I select an image named "shot01.jpg" in a sequence of 22 frames (->"shot22.jpg" ) the case "Set end" disapear and if I validate my choice, only one image is opened for a duration of 86399 frames !!
And for helper images, if I choose two or more images, it create two or more sequence all named "sequence01", with only one frame and I cannot pass to next sequence with "Ctrl+page up or down".
This is normal, or maybe this is an imcompatibility with Vista or something else ? |
wongsm | Hello,
Can anybody show me how to use helper frame?
Thanks |
