When I try to zoom in an unlocked view (model only) I can only zoom to a certain extent.... and I would love to zoom closer, much closer ! Locked views are OK, and I can zoom as close as I want....
 
also, when a tool like move is ON, chyanging views with the wheel of my mouse does not work... I have to zoom out or in a little, then it works....

  Yes I agree, you are actually blocked near the "center of interest" (i.e. the center for orbit, zoom, ...).
The Center of Interest is computed when you call "Look at Selected".
This will be changed in the next version.
