Can someone explain to me what's a 3d worldspace and how does it work in realviz, I sense that the 3d world space is probably ill-defined such that when I model, the primitives do not meet or are not proportionate to the images.

hello,
the 3D worldspace is the definition of your axis X, Y, Z plus a distance between two points.
You define the 3D worldspace position by drag and drop of two of the axis to two Locators, the third axis will be positioned following the right hand rule.

Be careful: when setting the axis, as long as two axis are not defined, the Apply button is still greyed.

You can also define a distance between two points  which will be the base for every distance or 3D position calculated in ImageModeler.

That's great info... but how do you actually DO what you stated?

Thanks.

well,
after your calibration, if it is succesful, you will see a new entry in the project tree called: '3D woldspace' under 'Measures'.
You click on it and you will see 3 axis (red, blue, green), plus a ruler in cyan.
By default it is located in a locator you have created but you can move it (drag and drop) to any locator. Just click on the origin of the 3 axis. Then you have to define the direction of 2 of the 3 axis. The 3rd one will be defined by the two others with the right hand rule.
Then you can define a distance with the cyan ruler.
Once this is done, click on the Accept button to validate your definitions.
