when i try to texture a face that i extruded, IM gives me the following error: "one or more of your faces have zero area. aborting texture extraction." i'm sure the problem is in my object, but i'm not sure how to get it to work. if you create a face from modling points, then extrude it along an axis, you've still only got one face. how do you get a copy of the face that you extruded to 'stick' to the other side of the newly-created object?

Hello mcah,

You probably have an extrusion of size 0.
Best thing to do is to delete the extruded face(s) and split/extrude again.

it's too bad there isn't more documentation for errors like this...i sure wish there were a more comprehensive reference manual for imagemodeler!
