Object Movies in ImageModeler

Is ImageModeler the right software to use to create simple object movies? I have photographed a large machine at 10° increments in a full circle around the machine and I would now like to blend them together like I would if I was using Stitcher to create a panorama. I'm looking to create a simple horizontal Object movie that can be loaded onto a web site using QuickTime viewing software. In essence what I'm looking for is the object movie version of Stitcher. I have been looking at ImageModeler for two weeks and it seems to do much more than what I need. Is there a simpler workflow method of inputting 36 images using this software or am I using the wrong product for my task at hand.

Hello,

In IM you can only produce QTVR Objects from a 3D models, not just from a set of images.  You'll need to reconstruct your machine first in 3D in IM. Could be a heavy work for what you want to do ...

Best,

Does Realviz have a program better suited for my needs, ie. that of producing object movies from a series of precisely taken images with a fair bit of overlap? Does Stitcher have a Object Movie module that I have missed? I have been using Stitcher quite a bit in the last few months but only for panoramas and I quite like the program now. The learning curve for it was fairly steep and the manuals not very intuitive but I’m much more proficient with it now. I would like to stay with a Realviz product if there is one suitable. ImageModeler was listed as a program for producing Object Movies in Quicktime on the IVRPA website and so I thought I would try it out. Is there a Stitcher module that would work better for what I want to do?

No, i'm afraid there is no "Realviz" solution for this task (without 3D modeling work).
I'm sure they are several tools that can do that easily (QTVR authoring studio ?). Ask also in the Stitcher forum, there are much more VR specialists...
