| System specs would help. OS, CPU, amount of memory, graphics card, etc? |
| My computer is a 2.1 gighertz CPU, 1.5 gig of ram, 128 meg Pny Video card |
| Running on a window 2000 professional. Digital picture that i took to be extracted by Image modeler are around 2048 x 1536 pixels and 1.2 meg files |
| System sounds good. I'm running a 2.53GHz P4, 1G ram, 64MB nVidia video card on Windows 2000 Pro, so the specs are pretty close to mine.
What exactly is a Pny Video card and what chipset? It is not shown in the supported graphics card list (basically, 3DLabs, ATI, nVidia chips are supported), so that should concern you. Could be a driver or an OpenGL problem related to this.
Could also be an issue with virtual memory, drivers, or other software/services running.
Have you tried reinstalling ImageModeler?
Check your virtual memory - should be 1.5x's actual memory max (about 2.25GB).
Verify that you have the latest video drivers for your card (especially OpenGL support) and latest service pack for W2K (SP3).
I'm waiting for someone from tech support to show up as I'm just a user guessing at what might be causing this. |
| Minh,
You say that you use 2048 x 1536 images. Could you please also tell me:
- How many images do you have in your ImageModeler projects.
- What version of ImageModeler do you use? 3.0?
- What value do you have in the field
Edit | Preferences | Advanced | Maximum Texture Size Per Object ?
I might need more information, but let's start with the above.
Thanks,
TextureBob |
