I'm a complete noob to 3D modeling and not very familar with anything outside of Realviz. I did try the Truespace and Carrerra demos and was completely lost. I really like the ease of modeling in Realviz especially with manipulating primates. What other 3D program out there would most resemble the modeling system in Realviz? I know all programs work the same way, but I want a modeler that is as easy to use as Realviz in that you simply click a vertice, edge or point and then the axis tool to manipulate it. Or is there a way to bypass the picture calibration and just use Realviz as a modeler? Is it possible to say load 2 pictures into the thing and get a quick calibration, then start making independant models. Also if that is possible could you then edit those two calibrated pictures using a photoeditor with new pictures to texture your new model or would that mess up the project?
