I have to say before I start posting here that I am not yet an owner of IM, I have used the trial version that came with 3DWorld magazine, but from running a few tests and from our conversation on the Newtek boards - I'm convinced I need to use this program daily, now I need to convince my bosses....
Now that's out of the way...
so are we gonna represent the Lightwave users on this forum ? 
Re: your latest request, I cant say that I have run into any situations that would need that yet, but expect that I almost certainly will at some point.
definitley agree with some selection info feedback panel, and glue multiple vertices and hide individual faces....
would add: booleans and user-definable shoftcut keys to start with, but I must say, I'm not familiar enough with the SW (or entitled!) yet to make informed comments or requests.
