Hello,
Normally the snapshot uses the same display settings as the 3D Views of IM. Do you see any gridding in any of the 3d views ?
The snapshot is an OpenGL rendering, do you have other "opengl" application open during the process ?
Have you tried to update your graphic card driver ?
