We are hoping to use ImageModeler to find the focal length/position of a 5x4 camera and create a Maya scene in order to correctly match the physical camera in 3D.  We cannot use the 5x4 camera to take a series of shots so we were hoping to take other shots using a DSLR.
 
Can we use the DSLR shots in conjunction with the final shot from the 5x4 in order to solve the scene and give us the focal length/postion of the 5x4 camera.
 
In other words, do all the source images need to be from the same camera?

  No, there are not to be from the same camera. IM handles images from multiple size, device, etc...
You will help IM by grouping images that share the same device, using the  camera device object in IM.
