Sorry to keep bringing up problems !
I am exporting the data from IM to Maya4.0
When I get the data into Maya4.0 all of the reference points are sitting at the origin - with a transform group node for each point, which gives it the correct translation to get the point into the right place.
What I have to do, is go through each of these, remove the group node (after making a note of the transforms), and then applying these noted transforms to the maker point. For a scene with over 100 locators - this takes ages!!!
These seems like an exporter bug to me? Has this been fixed? Is there any way of fixing it.
The last project I did, it took almost two hours to convert all these points properly into Maya. eeeek!!!
Any help would be great. |
stef | Hello,
This a beta version of a new Maya exporter (version 1.2 for Mac).
If it works on your side, we will add it in the download section as an official patch.
Best, Stef |
mattwright | Hi
What do i do with this? I extract it, and I have no idea what to do with the DMG! |
stef | Hello,
On Mac, just dbl click on the dmg file. It will add the installer on your desktop.
On PC: download the attached file rzml2Ma.zip
uncompress rzml2Ma.zip. you should get 2 files : rzml2ma.exe and rzml2ma.rzio
Move and replace the 2 files in the ImageModeler installation folder. (you may make a copy of the old files for safety)
Thanks for telling if it solves your problems.
Best,
Stef |
relax | Is there a place where I can download the PC export file for Maya?
Or is it for sale?
The file seems to be not present (that's the notification I get when I try to download it.
Thanks in advance! |
